This filing revises NCCI’s Statistical Plan. A new nature of injury code for adverse reactions to vaccinations/inoculations. A new description to a current cause of injury code stating it is NOC and applies only to non-impact cases in which injury resulted from inhalation, absorptions, ingestion of harmful substances, or vaccinations.

This Administrative Order approved NCCI Item filing E-1407 Exclusion of COVID-19 Claims from Experience Rating and Merit Rating as described therein. This filing revises NCCI’s Experience Rating Plan Manual and Statistical Plan Manual rules to add a catastrophe code (12) for claims attributable to the COVID-19 pandemic and exclude such claims from experience rating.

This Administrative Order approved Item Filing B-1441 Revisions to NCCI Manual Rules Related to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Pandemic as described therein. This Item Filing revises NCCI’s Basic Manual and Statistical Manual to add & revise rules and add a new statistical code. These changes address claims attributable to paid furloughed employees; and final premium reporting for employers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
