Clerk's Information System

The Clerk's Information System (CIS) contains information on file in the Clerk’s Office for Virginia and foreign corporations, limited liability companies, general and limited partnerships, and business trusts.

CIS may be used to search for businesses. Details available in CIS include entity name, SCC ID, business entity type, date of formation or registration, status, principal office address (if required) and registered agent/registered office. You may also view and download images associated with filings for a business.
