Garnishment Designees
Virginia and foreign corporations and limited liability companies authorized to
transact business in Virginia may file with the State Corporation Commission a designation
of an employee upon whom a garnishment summons may be served pursuant to § 8.01-513
of the Code of Virginia.
Please note that designation information, which was provided by the business entity,
will be changed only upon the written request of the entity. The Clerk’s Office
does not unilaterally revise the garnishment designee list when an entity changes
its name, is terminated or canceled, or is no longer authorized to transact business
in Virginia.
